Flamengo have stepped up their pursuit of Lucas Paquetá, with a fresh meeting scheduled with West Ham on Monday as they seek a decisive breakthrough. According to Coluna Do Fla, officials from both clubs and the player’s representatives will attend.
The expectation is for a possible positive outcome from the talks. Flamengo are preparing an offer of around 40 million euros, a figure said to be within West Ham’s parameters.
Paquetá has not been training with West Ham and missed their most recent match, with back pain cited as the reason. Amid negotiations, he has informed Nuno Espírito Santo of his wish to leave.
He is fully committed to returning to Flamengo and intends to push for a swift resolution.
Personal terms, covering salary and contract length, are already in place between Flamengo and Paquetá. With his West Ham deal running until mid 2027, the Brazilian club must now negotiate his release.
