Florian Sotoca surprise starter for Lens against Angers

Florian Sotoca will start for Lens against Angers on Friday at 20:45, a surprise inclusion and his first Ligue 1 start of the season.

According to L'Équipe, head coach Pierre Sage had expressed regret at not using him at Lorient last week, a 1-2 defeat, and the captain now comes in.

The 35-year-old forward, recently extended until 2027, features alongside Florian Thauvin and Odsonne Edouard in attack.

Allan Saint-Maximin and Abdallah Sima are among the substitutes.
