Florian Thauvin netted his 100th Ligue 1 goal on Saturday, converting a penalty to open the scoring and give Lens a 1-0 lead at Strasbourg.

L'Équipe notes that the Lens captain, 33, had set the milestone as an early-season target and had never scored against Strasbourg before. He reached it in his 294th top-flight appearance.

He is the 90th player to reach the mark, the first since Kevin Gameiro in March 2024 in Strasbourg colours, and the 15th in the past 30 years.
