Flu fight back to extend unbeaten run at the Maracanã | OneFootball

Fluminense beat Remo 2-1 at the Maracanã on Saturday as Flu extended their Brasileirão unbeaten run to seven matches.

Jajá put Remo ahead in the 31st minute, steering in Marcelinho's set-piece cross. Flu then lost Samuel Xavier to injury (44.) as the first half ended with the visitors in front.

After the restart, Hulk levelled with a glancing header (66.) from a pinpoint Yeferson Soteldo cross. VAR confirmed the goal.

Kevin Serna, on at half time, settled it with a close-range header (83.) from Riquelme's centre moments after the teenager came on and delivered the corner sequence.

Marcelo Rangel kept Leão Azul in it with seven saves, notably from Ganso and Hulk. Flu dominated possession at 72.6% and registered 20 attempts as pressure told late on. Leão Azul mustered one effort on target.
