Renato Portaluppi will get a final look at his Grêmio side before facing Remo, with a training match scheduled for Friday at CT Luiz Carvalho. The run-out is set for the afternoon during the international break.

According to Globo.com, the opponents will be the Sindicato dos Atletas Profissionais do Rio Grande do Sul, and the game will be played over two 45-minute halves. The staff plan to assess options for the run-in, with Gustavo Martins and Noriega due to be unavailable when Série A resumes.

Beyond tactical work, the session is also about sharpening match rhythm for several players. Dodi, back from injury, is an option to bolster the midfield against Remo.

Balbuena, João Pedro and Marcos Rocha, who featured on their return against Palmeiras, also need minutes to rebuild conditioning.

Absentees for the friendly include Jovane Cabral, Villasanti and Gabriel Menegon, all away with their national teams for friendlies. Pedro Gabriel is with the Brazil under-20s and will also miss the game.
