Fluminense seal Santi Moreno loan to Dallas FC

Fluminense has agreed to loan Santi Moreno to FC Dallas of MLS. The Colombian winger joined the club in mid-2025 but was unable to adapt to Brazilian football and establish a run of games. Fluminense will receive US$660,000 (R$3.4 million) for the loan, plus a fixed US$5.3 million (R$27.7 million) purchase option.

Santi Moreno arrived at the club with high expectations after standing out in the North American league and shortly after Jhon Arias' departure. But the Colombian failed to deliver strong performances, making just 13 appearances. As a result, the Fluminense board saw this deal as a good opportunity to try to recover the money invested in the player.
