FC Porto midfielder Seko Fofana has retired from international football with Ivory Coast, announcing his decision on Monday.
The player said in a social media post that it was time to turn the page, offering thanks to team-mates, staff and supporters.
He expressed pride in representing his country and looked forward to a talented new generation while pledging to remain a passionate supporter of the Elephants.
The 31-year-old, who also holds French nationality, made 35 appearances for the national team and scored seven goals.
He won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2023.
