Auxerre and Monaco meet in the Coupe De France, with the cup being a welcome distraction for the home side, who sit 16th in Ligue 1, with the threat of relegation looming. Auxerre have only won three of their 16 matches in Ligue 1 this term and have struggled at home with five defeats across their nine matches in front of their home fans.
Monaco's record on the road hasn't been solid this term, but they have the advantage when it comes to quality, having beaten Auxerre in each of the last five head-to-head meetings between the sides.
The most recent meeting took place in September and saw Monaco run out 2-1 winners, as the away side. Monaco were pretty dominant in that game and generated an xG of 1.42 to Auxerre's 0.67. Monaco limited Auxerre to just two shots on target on that occasion, and this may be where the home side struggle most, with Christophe Pelisser's side only averaging 3.90 shots on target per game in Ligue 1 this term.
Recent form is also on the side of Monaco, with Auxerre winning just one of their last 11 matches across all competitions, with their only victory coming against Metz, who sit bottom of Ligue 1, having lost 11 of their 16 matches in the French top-flight.
Girona v Atletico Madrid Sunday 21st December Kick off: 13:00LaLiga
Girona have collapsed quite dramatically from the heights they set a few seasons ago, which earned them a spot in the Champions League. They currently sit 18th in La Liga, having only won three of their 16 matches in the Spanish top-flight, notably conceding more goals than any other side (30).
Girona's home form doesn't make for much better reading, with only two wins from their eight matches in front of their home fans. Defensive solidity is still an issue at home for Michel's side, having conceded 14 goals across their eight home games - only Levante (16) have conceded more goals at home than Girona this term.
Atletico Madrid enter this game having won their last three matches across all competitions, and need a win to keep pace with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Villarreal at the top of La Liga. Diego Simone's side are as stubborn as they've always been and have only lost three of their 17 matches in La Liga, winning 10 of those games and netting 30 goals in the process.
Atletico Madrid are a little more vulnerable at the back this term, with Diego Simeone signing players in the summer that would make them more of a threat in the final third. This shouldn't be an issue for the away side here, when noting Girona's poor defensive record at home and in general throughout this campaign.
Sunday 21st December Kick off: 11:15 Eredivisie
PSV are one of the most efficient sides in Europe, and their away record is stellar with eight wins from their eight trips on the road. Peter Bosz's side have scored 24 goals across those games, more than any other side in the Eredivisie - they also boast the best defensive record on the road with only seven goals conceded.
They take on an Utrecht side that do have a strong home record, having lost just one of their eight matches this term, but have struggled against PSV in recent clashes - losing 4-2 in this fixture last season.
Utrecht have won just one of their last seven matches across all competitions, with this success coming in the KNVB Cup during the week as they beat lower league opposition. This isn't likely to instil masses of confidence in an Utrecht side that have struggled in recent weeks aside from that victory.
As well as having an excellent record on the road, PSV have won their last 11 matches domestically, with Ajax being the last side to take a point off them in a 2-2 draw.
