Utrecht host PSV in the Eredivisie on Sunday, 21 December 2025 at Stadion Galgenwaard, with the home side chasing the European play-off places and the leaders looking to consolidate top spot.
Utrecht and PSV have shared points in recent years but the visitors hit five on their last trip to Stadion Galgenwaard in December 2024. The hosts arrive unbeaten in five league games, while PSV have strung together five straight league wins.
Utrecht's injury list includes David Min, Davy Van den Berg and Zidane Iqbal. PSV are without Alassane Plea, Nick Olij, Mauro Júnior, Myron Boadu, Couhaib Driouech and Ruben van Bommel, trimming attacking and defensive options.
Utrecht average 1.7 goals per game with 48% possession and 80.34% passing accuracy this season, and eight headed goals plus a 28.50% cross accuracy from open play point to a clear aerial route. The Boeren have been prolific at 3.1 goals per game, dominating the ball at 60% with 86.85% passing accuracy and 10 headed goals. Guus Til sits second in the league scoring chart on 11, while Joey Veerman and Ismael Saibari have added regular end product. Souffian El Karouani leads the assists list on nine for Utrecht.
The Boeren top the table on 43 points and a win would take them to 46, tightening their grip on the title race. Utrecht sit eighth on 23 points in the qualification play-offs bracket. Three points would lift them to 26 and strengthen their push to stay in that mix.
