Two big sources have dropped their latest info on Mike Maignan to Chelsea and it really does sound like the deal is ON!
This news comes after Chelsea beat Real Betis to win the Conference League a week ago today after being a goal down at half time and turning it around.
The Blues ended up winning the game 4-1 in the end after a bit of a Cole Palmer masterclass in the second half, providing two beautiful assists for his team mates to grab crucial goals.
Although head coach Enzo Maresca is once again not willing to get carried away after this by insisting that Chelsea’s target for next season is not going to be winning the Champions League!
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano put his latest info out on Maignan to Chelsea last night and he has given it a 60% chance of happening right now, which isn’t bad at all.

He also says that he expects Chelsea to bid soon and the deal to accelerate in the next hours. This one is moving fast, believe me.
Two more reporters, Ben Jacobs and Gianluca Di Marzio, have put their info out and are even more positive of it happening, with them even putting the very cheap price out that it will take for Chelsea to sign him.
Jacobs says on X:
“Mike Maignan is open to a move to Chelsea following positive talks. Milan were more inclined to keep Maignan in a bid to buy time for him to extend, but their lack of Champions League football could force them to sell for £20-25m, potentially with some add-ons on top.
“Things could move fast as Chelsea are now expected to place an offer.”
And Di Marzio backs that up on his website, confirming that AC Milan are asking for £25m to sell Mike Maignan.
