Former Corinthians midfielder marks debut with assist in the UAE

Midfielder Guilherme Biro began a new chapter in his career this Saturday (14) on the right foot. The former Corinthians player made his debut for Ajman Club in the United Arab Emirates and contributed with an assist in the 5-2 victory over Khorfakkan. Playing for 73 minutes, Biro actively participated in the team's offensive construction and showed personality right in his first match for the new club.

After the match, the player highlighted the importance of starting well and already being able to help the team on the field. “Very happy to debut with a victory and, above all, to be able to repay all the confidence the club had in me with an assist. I arrived with the goal of earning my place, working hard, and helping Ajman in the best way possible. Starting like this gives even more confidence for the future”, he stated.

Biro, who left Sharjah in search of more opportunities, had consistent numbers in his debut: besides the assist, he recorded three key passes, 17 out of 18 accurate passes, and one shot on goal. With a strong presence in offensive actions and intensity in his drives, the Brazilian begins his journey in Emirati football where he has a contract until mid-season.

It's worth remembering that Corinthians officially sold the young player in the 2025 season for 2.5 million dollars (14 million reais at the exchange rate at the time) for 50% of the player's rights, retaining the other 50% for future negotiations.
