According to BuLi News, Nathan Bitumazala has joined Alemannia Aachen on a free, signing a two-year contract with an option of a third for their 3. Liga campaign.
The 23-year-old spent the last four years at KAS Eupen, and his contract was not renewed after last season. Eupen, owned by Qatar Sports Investments, currently compete in Belgium's second division.
An attacking midfielder, he joined PSG in 2015 and made a first-team appearance in a 4-0 Ligue 1 win over Clermont in 2021. He also worked under current Aachen coach Mersad Selimbegovic during a season in Belgium.
Managing director Rachid Azzouzi welcomed the arrival, highlighting Bitumazala's PSG schooling and progress in Belgium, and describing him as quick and inventive, able to play wide or centrally.
Bitumazala expressed delight at signing for Aachen and at linking up again with Selimbegovic, noting that living in Eupen showed him the region's enthusiasm for the club. Selimbegovic views the signing as a good fit, pointing to the player's speed and strong technique.
Aachen begin their season at home to relegated Verl on Sunday.
