Over the years, Real Madrid have become synonymous with a club that boasts some of the biggest names in football playing for their team. The Spanish club remains one of the favourite destinations for the best players throughout the world, and the Merengues themselves have never shied away from spending huge amounts of money to bring such superstars to their team.

Meanwhile, youth development has also remained one of the cornerstones of the club’s policy, and Real Madrid have seen many of their academy graduates playing for the top teams across Europe. Thus, the different youth-level teams have their own importance in the club’s hierarchy.

Among these youth-level teams, one that is enjoying a high level of success in recent times is the Juvenil A. A lot of the credit for this success needs to be given to the coach, Alvaro Arbeloa.

As MARCA has reported, the former Real Madrid fullback has had a very successful career as a coach at La Fabrica. In his total 136 games in charge of La Fabrica teams, he has won 110, thus recording an 81% win rate.

Arbeloa’s latest win came against Las Rozas as his Juvenil A team won 5-0 against them. In the preseason, the Spanish tactician led his team to 9 straight victories and has continued his winning run in the 2024-25 season as well as he has got two wins from two games up to now.

His impressive numbers go even beyond this season and the last preseason. In the last 21 league games that he has overseen, his side has won 20. His Juvenil A side has won 52 of the 62 total league games played in Division de Honor, and another 11 wins in 16 UEFA Youth League games. Overall, his Juvenil A side has got 72 wins in 89 games.

Since his debut as the head coach of the Infancia A in the 2020-21 season, Arbeloa has won 110 of the 136 games he has overseen.

Furthermore, his game has also not been all about results, as his team also plays very attractive attacking football. Hopefully, Arbeloa can continue to string such successes and take charge of the Real Madrid first team one day to lead it to even more successes.
