Karlan Grant has joined Championship rivals Charlton on a two-year deal.

In a social media post, the 28-year-old thanked supporters, said he was proud to have represented West Brom and wished everyone at the club success for the future.

Grant moved to Albion from Huddersfield in 2020 on a six-year contract for £15 million and scored 35 goals in 173 appearances.

Albion had offered fresh terms, but a move this summer had long appeared likely.

The Baggies have already strengthened their forward options with the arrivals of Barney Stewart and Jimmy-Jay Morgan.

He first broke through at Charlton and made nearly 100 appearances for the Addicks.
