Foxes Trust voices major concerns as Leicester City sale limbo drags on | OneFootball

The Foxes Trust has set out significant concerns over Leicester City’s direction and urged clearer communication from the club amid continued ownership uncertainty.

LeicestershireLive reports that King Power has put City up for sale after 16 years, with a brochure outlining assets in the portfolio. The Srivaddhanaprabha family are said to be seeking £222m for the portfolio, and no takeover appears close.

At the end of last season, a Trust survey of over 4,400 fans called for a complete reset and welcomed potential new ownership. Over three months on, the Trust issued an open letter on the club’s state and the sale process.

The Trust says it is deeply concerned and frustrated. It cites unanswered requests for season-ticket benefits, a declined Q&A, and the first Your 90 Minutes session being rearranged from an online slot.

On the potential sale, it welcomes change in ownership but says little has improved over the summer. It wants confirmation that proceeds from recent and future player sales are reinvested in the club, not retained for any deal, plus reassurance on financial health.

It has asked executives, including Kevin Davies and Jon Rudkin, to address supporters as part of a promised new era of communications after leadership changes, and requested a meeting within a fortnight.

The Trust argues the club should lean into fan engagement during a sale, saying unity, pride and hope will only be restored through genuine dialogue, and it invites serious bidders to speak with them. Leicester City declined to comment.
