In the Saturday lunchtime kick-off, Brentford’s meeting with west London rivals Fulham brought a third 0-0 in five matches.
Caoimhín Kelleher (£4.8m), Michael Kayode (£4.6m), Nathan Collins (£4.9m) and Sepp van den Berg (£4.6m) claimed a clean sheet on all three occasions.
Mathias Jensen (£4.9m) created four chances, two of which were classified as big chances, including a 10th-minute cross that Igor Thiago (£7.4m) headed wide.
Keane Lewis-Potter’s (£4.8m) attempt at a clever finish went over the bar, while Kevin Schade (£7.0m) set up a lofted Mikkel Damsgaard (£5.6m) effort.
Three of the four shots on target came from Dango Ouattara (£5.9m), the final one forcing a superb save from Bernd Leno (£4.9m).
The subsequent corner was nodded wide by Collins in stoppage-time, similar to an earlier one that narrowly avoided the nearby Thiago and Ouattara.
Last season’s sole outfielder to play every possible Premier League minute, the defender had a fairly recent spell out of Keith Andrews’ side, but has started the last five fixtures.

Despite that period, Collins still ranks fifth amongst all in his position for headed attempts (17) and joint-10th for defensive contribution (DefCon) actions (270).
His 2024/25 campaign ended with two goals, seven assists and the sixth-most big chances from a defender (six).
Morgan Gibbs-White (£7.5m) scored a hat-trick in a crucial 4-1 win at home to Burnley, which brought in a huge 20 points.
Ollie Watkins (£8.6m) delivered two goals and an assist, with defender James Justin (£3.9m) matching his 16 points due to a clean sheet and spectacular overhead kick against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Leeds United team-mate Noah Okafor (£5.5m) set it up and quickly made it 2-0 by calmly slotting home from close range for a total of 14 points to follow last Monday’s 15 against Manchester United.
All FPL managers need to be aware that the six teams that featured twice in Double Gameweek 33 – Bournemouth, Brighton and Hove Albion, Burnley, Chelsea, Leeds and Manchester City – will therefore not be taking part in Blank Gameweek 34.
This explains some of the most-sold individuals heading into Friday evening’s deadline. Chelsea’s João Pedro (£7.7m) and City’s Antoine Semenyo (£8.2m) both blanked in Gameweek 34 and are the first and third-most sold players this week.
Liverpool do have a fixture, but Hugo Ekitike’s (£9.1m) injury means he is the second-most transferred out.
Meanwhile, Watkins, Gibbs-White and Jarrod Bowen (£7.7m) are liked by the masses.
Without Erling Haaland (£14.5m) around, the standout candidate for many will be Bruno Fernandes (£10.3m), knowing that six of his last seven home appearances brought in a double-digit tally.
He’s assisted at least once in six successive matches in a period of nine attacking returns and 54 points. The Portuguese playmaker is in scintillating form.
Activating the Free Hit chip will be a popular strategy for Blank Gameweek 34. As a result, some may want to take a one-match punt on Mohamed Salah (£14.0m), for old times' sake, or pick an Arsenal attacker at home to Newcastle United.
