France are in talks with the Brazilian FA to set up an international friendly game in the United States next March, a couple of months before the 2026 World CupL’Equipe reports that the FFF – Fédération Française de Football – is studying the possibility of a tour in the US, provided that Didier Deschamps’ Les Bleus are already qualified for the expanded 48-team tournament.

So far, France are right on schedule. They are top of their group after winning their first two games against Ukraine (2-0) and Iceland (2-1). France are also yet to face the weakest team in Group D, Azerbaijan. Although no agreement will be secure before France’s qualification for the World Cup, talks are reportedly well-advanced between the two FAs.
