France to face Ivory Coast in pre-World Cup friendly

Ahead of their World Cup campaign, France will face Ivory Coast in Nantes at the start of June, the federation have confirmed.
Didier Deschamps is preparing for his final tournament as head coach of Les Bleus. As he confirmed back in January 2025, he will leave the national team upon the conclusion of the World Cup campaign, regardless of the outcome.
The schedule ahead of the tournament, set to be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, is filling up. During the upcoming international break later this month, France will face Brazil and Colombia; both matches will happen stateside.
But Deschamps will contest at least one more match on French soil, with the FFF confirming a game against the Ivory Coast on 4th June. That will happen at the Beaujoire, Nantes.
March 26 v Brazil (Foxborough, Massachusetts)
