Franck Haise has a full Rennes squad for the visit of Marseille at Roazhon Park on Friday, 20:45, with centre-back Abdelhamid Aït-Boudlal back in the group.

According to L'Équipe, Aït-Boudlal became a father last weekend and was capably covered at Angers on Sunday, a 2-1 win, by Anthony Rouault on the left of central defence alongside Charlie Cresswell.

Haise faces three matches in nine days before the international break, with trips to Graz on Wednesday in C3 and to Lyon the following Saturday.

He intends to test the squad’s ability to stay competitive while rotating, having used all five substitutions in each of his first three matches.

Speaking on Wednesday, he said he thinks there are 16, 17 or 18 players who deserve to start at some point, and that some have progressed and will surely get an opening across the next three games.

Among those yet to start is forward Eliezer Mayenda, although there could be continuity at kick-off against Marseille with the trio Blas, Lepaul and Al Tamari.
