According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica striker Franjo Ivanovic has been linked with Galatasaray and, despite no offer landing, he has not ruled out a summer move.
The Croatia international knows he needs regular football and would consider a switch to Türkiye's four-time champions, while Benfica aim to recoup the €22.8 million spent last summer to sign him from Union St. Gilloise.
Galatasaray are interested in a loan, featuring a €12 million option to buy plus €3 million in performance bonuses, a proposal that would need to be submitted and assessed by Rui Costa.
Benfica would prefer a permanent sale but are unwilling to take a loss after only one year, despite a disappointing campaign for the Croatia international, who missed the World Cup after limited minutes at the Luz.
The arrival of Jhon Durán on loan from Al Nassr has sealed Ivanovic’s fate. Marco Silva will not part with Vangelis Pavlidis, wanted another striker, and will keep Anísio Cabral, 18, as the third option.
