Ahead of their EURO 2024 semi-final in Munich, both French and Spanish fans have descended on the German city, painting it a mixture of blue and red.

The French fans might not have had many goals to celebrate so far in the tournament – they have become the first team in EUROs history not to score from open play in five straight games – but that has not dimmed their enthusiasm in the slightest.

One Les Bleus’ fan has even decided he is so confident in the side Didier Deschamps will pick that he wrote it across his body, fit with a full substitutes bench. There was also a nod to France’s superstar finisher this summer, Own Goal, who tops their goalscoring charts with two strikes.

Not to be outdone, the Spanish have been having their own fiesta in Bavaria, seemingly having as much off the pitch as their team is on it – no side has scored more (11) than Luis de la Fuente’s men.
