The Toffees are eyeing up a move for forward Zian Flemming.
This has been reported by journalist Ben Jacobs, who details that Italian, French and Dutch clubs are also keen on making a move for the 28-year-old.
Flemming showcased what he is all about on the opening weekend of the new Championship season, with his brace helping Burnley come back from two goals to draw 2-2 with West Ham at Turf Moor last Sunday afternoon.
But Burnley fans may not be seeing Flemming for too much longer in the second tier, with interest continuing to ramp up in the forward as we tick down towards the end of the summer transfer window.

Zian Flemming has been a sought-after forward throughout the summer transfer window, with his goalscoring exploits last season at Turf Moor potentially handing him a route back into top-flight football.
The Dutchman has been vocal on preferring a move back to the Premier League if one was to become available, but it hasn’t materialised just yet despite such heavy interest.
After hitting 11 goals in 29 Premier League games, Flemming has had reported interest from the likes of Brentford, Leeds United, Ipswich Town and Coventry City, with Burnley reportedly willing to listen to offers in the region of around €20m (£17.3m).

Now as per a recent post from Ben Jacobs on his X account, Everton are weighing up a move for Zian Flemming.
Toffees boss David Moyes recently admitted that his side have a lot of work left to do during the remainder of the summer transfer window, and bolstering their forward department with Flemming could be an option, with Moyes watching his display last Sunday from the stands at Turf Moor.
According to Jacobs, Flemming has drawn interest from Everton, but the Merseyside outfit are expected to face competition from clubs in Italy, France and his native Netherlands, while Burnley remain hopeful that they can hold onto their star striker.

It’s been clear to see that Burnley want to hold onto Zian Flemming, with his goalscoring attributes so key to getting the Clarets into promotion contention back to the Premier League.
And after his stellar performance against the Hammers, boss Nicky Hayen has urged Flemming to remain at the club, highlighting his significant importance to the team, as reported by the BBC.
"It didn't help that he scored two times!" joked Hayen.
"No, I'm really pleased with his performance and also the way he scores the penalty.
"He scored our second goal too and, of course, Zian is really important, not only with his goals, but also for the way he plays for us.
"I've said the way we play suits him so maybe it's the best choice for him to stay because he can be even more important than before and maybe wait for six-and-a-half months for the winter break because it can change every time.
"I'm aware of that, but I think he enjoys himself and that's the most important thing at the moment."

While Burnley fans have been able to cling onto hope that Zian Flemming will remain at Turf Moor, his excellent performance against West Ham on the opening weekend has only attracted further interest, with Everton clearly been impressed with what they saw.
Flemming was exceptional in the Premier League last season too, getting into double figures for goals despite being in such a poor side at that level.
It’s clear he’s deserving of another crack at the top-flight in a more established side, and Everton could be an ideal place, with the Toffees not having the most fluent of scorers in either Thierno Barry or Beto.
Much of Burnley’s promotion hopes rest on Flemming sticking around, while if an exit occurs, it would be such an untimely one, with the Lancashire outfit then having to scramble around to replace such a massive gaping hole.
Continued interest will worry everybody connected with Burnley, who will fear that Flemming’s head could be turned by talk of a Premier League return.
