FC Bayern are still on the lookout for new attacking players. An attacker is said to still be an issue and has an advocate in sports director Christoph Freund.

FC Bayern are keeping a close eye on the international striker market – and one name keeps cropping up: Franculino Dju from FC Midtjylland in Denmark. According to Sport BILD, they are continuing to keep a close eye on the 21-year-old’s development at Säbener Straße. Sports director Christoph Freund in particular is said to be a clear advocate of the speedy attacker, according to the report.

It has been known for months that Dju has an exciting profile, and FC Bayern had already started to take a closer look at the left-footer in the summer and had him watched live on several occasions.

The young attacker has long been on the lists of several top clubs. Everton FC in England are said to be particularly interested in Dju. The Sun reported that manager David Moyes would like to make a move in the winter, as Everton have massive problems in attack. Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen are also monitoring the situation.

Midtjylland themselves, however, are not very willing to sell. Coach Mike Tullberg recently joked: „There are no FCM players who will move to Bayern Munich – if they leave us, they will go to Dortmund.“ However, sporting director Jacob Larsen openly confirmed the interest of big clubs: „FC Bayern is one of several – that’s probably true.“

For FC Bayern, the 21-year-old remains a case for observation – and, thanks to Freund’s appreciation, still a serious topic. However, a transfer in January is considered difficult. Midtjylland is not interested in a deal in the winter, and Dju is tied up until 2029. Nevertheless, depending on how the Munich forward develops next summer, the name could become hot again.
