Froholdt and Pietuszewski train on day off as Porto focus on Benfica clash | OneFootball

According to O Jogo, Victor Froholdt and Oskar Pietuszewski gave up their day off to work at Olival on Monday.

Porto host Benfica at Estádio do Dragão on Sunday, 20:30.

Froholdt is continuing his recovery from a concussion sustained against Moreirense on 4 September. He sat out the defeat to Manchester City and the rout of Casa Pia.

Pietuszewski is in the final stage of rehabilitation on a right thigh muscle injury, aiming for his first appearance of the season.

João Costa and Zaidu were also at CTFD Jorge Costa on Monday morning. Neither the goalkeeper nor the left-back is in Francesco Farioli’s plans for the Benfica game, part of the seventh round of the Primeira Liga.

Porto top the table with 18 points, while Benfica are second on 16.
