Victor Froholdt will be fit to face Benfica

Victor Froholdt missed the training session with a match against Académica as he was following FIFA protocol for returning to competition after a concussion. Even so, the midfielder is expected to be available to face Benfica next Sunday. After the day off granted to the squad, he is likely to return to full training as early as tomorrow, although under the usual precautions.

Yesterday, Froholdt did modified training, much like Oskar Pietuszewski, who will be assessed again tomorrow and still believes he could be an option for the derby. João Costa, recovering from surgery, Zaidu, undergoing treatment and gym work, and Vasco Sousa and André Miranda, both in modified training, complete the medical bulletin.
