Roma are aiming to strengthen their attack by looking to Portugal for a possible reinforcement.
According to Portuguese newspaper Record, the Giallorossi have initiated talks for Andreas Schjelderup, a talented Benfica winger.
The young Norwegian, born in 2004, is reportedly ready to leave Lisbon as early as January and seems open to a move to Italy.
Roma are currently interested in bringing him to the capital on loan, but negotiations are far from straightforward.
In fact, Besiktas have also made a determined move for Schjelderup.
The Turkish club is attempting to initiate negotiations to convince José Mourinho’s Benfica, offering Rafa Silva in return.
Turkish competition is complicating Roma’s path, but the Giallorossi remain in the running for the young talent, aiming to strengthen their attack.
