AC Milan are one of three Italian clubs interested in signing Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez, according to a report from Spain.
Calciomercato.it recently reported that that Vazquez is preparing to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season when his contract expires, with Milan and Juventus evaluating a proposal.
According to the latest from Spanish outlet TF, Real Madrid do not seem willing to give in with the Galician winger a new deal. Although he is important for Zidane, Los Blancos consider the offer they tabled to Vazquez a few months ago their best offer and will not increase the salary.
The player is pressing his agents to make sure he does not get a pay cut as he feels he has the confidence of the coach and has always made himself available wherever he is asked to play, including right-back this season.
Vazquez has begun to listen to offers, since he can negotiate with any club that wants to sign him on a free transfer. Napoli, Milan and Roma are mentioned as being interested in signing him, the former being the most advanced in the negotiation. His current salary is €3.5m net per year and he wants at least a three-year deal.
