As the team prepares for the trip to Cagliari, Massara is working on the transfer market to strengthen Roma’s attack.
Gasperini has bluntly requested a striker and a left winger. The hottest names are Zirkzee and Chiesa, but United and Liverpool only want to sell them permanently.
Furthermore, the former Juventus player currently prefers to stay with the Reds.
Among the many names that have been floated is En-Nesyri.
The Fenerbahce striker is once again in Roma’s sights, according to Turkish portal fanatik.com.tr.
The Giallorossi had already been tracking the Moroccan last year when he was still playing for Sevilla.
In the end, En-Nesyri preferred the Turkish offer, while the Giallorossi opted for Dovbyk. In his first year in Turkey, he scored 20 goals in the league and six in the Europa League.
The Giallorossi, however, aren’t the only club pursuing the Moroccan. AC Milan are also on his trail.
The Rossoneri, like Roma, are dissatisfied with the performance of their forwards.
Gimenez and Nkunku haven’t satisfied coach Allegri, who in recent matches has preferred to play with Leao and Pulisic as attacking anchors.
