Yann Bisseck could push to leave Inter in January unless he gets more playing time following the arrival of Manuel Akanji, claim reports.

The defender had been among the candidates to be sold over the summer in order to bring in fresh funds, but it was ultimately decided that he would remain, while Benjamin Pavard moved to Olympique Marseille.

However, Bisseck’s hopes this would push him into being a regular for the starting XI have vanished with the strong start to life in Serie A for Akanji, on loan from Manchester City with option to buy.

According to Bild, this means the Germany international is ready to look for a new destination in January, to avoid missing out on the 2026 World Cup squad.

There had already been interest from Crystal Palace this season, although Bisseck had been hoping to aim a little higher when leaving the two-times Champions League Finalists.

However, having played only 157 minutes in the current campaign – 114 fewer than at this stage last season – he might be open to changing his mind.

The sale price could also drop from the original €40m.
