Fulham attacker Adama Traore joining West Ham United before the end of the winter transfer window is a done deal, according to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto.
West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo wants to reunite with the Spaniard at the London Stadium, and it appears the Hammers have landed him.
Traore has not been playing regularly at Fulham and is open to leaving ahead of his contract expiring at the end of the season.
West Ham have signed two strikers – Pablo Felipe and Taty Castellanos – this month and will be holding on to Callum Wilson.
However, they could do with more attacking firepower as they look to escape relegation, and adding Traore to their ranks could be a much-needed boost.
The Spaniard brings quality, experience and versatility to the table, and playing under Nuno could bring out the best in him again.
West Ham need quality deliveries in the box, and they are getting the perfect man for the job in the Fulham star.
Traore’s pace and strength will also come in handy for the Hammers in the final third, and Nuno will be eager to unleash him on opponents in the final 16 league games of the season.
West Ham are 18th in the table, five points off safety, and they will look to further strengthen across other departments to boost their survival chances.
The Hammers could do with new signings in midfield and central defence, and Nuno has asked the club to support him.
There are just ten days left before the winter transfer deadline on February 2, and West Ham have to wrap things up as quickly as possible to avoid missing out on key targets.
