It is set to be a busy end to the summer window at Craven Cottage
Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson is set to undergo a medical at Fulham, following Real Madrid’s Manuel Angel.
Standard Sport understands that Larsson is closing in on a move to west London and has been given permission to travel.
Larsson, who has made 83 appearances for Frankfurt since signing from Swedish club Malmo in 2023, is set to become Fulham’s fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Gonzalo Garcia, Cesar Palacios and Shea Charles.
Head coach Alvaro Arbeloa has been keen to bolster his squad after taking over the reins from long-serving manager Marco Silva last month, and Fulham have also now agreed a deal with Real Madrid for Angel as they remain in talks over Rayo Vallecano right-back Andrei Ratiu.
Negotiations for Ratiu are understood to be complicated, with the 28-year-old keen to join Fulham but Vallecano reluctant to let him leave so close to the end of the transfer window.
There are also expected to be a few outgoings at Craven Cottage before Tuesday night’s 11pm BST transfer deadline, with full-back Kenny Tete attracting interest from Everton and Under-21s captain Jayden Quashie potentially set to leave on loan.
Tete has been a long-standing target for Everton, who are in the market for a new right-back, while Quashie is attracting strong interest from an unnamed League Two club.
