Fulham came from behind to claim all three points against London rivals Brentford, running out 3-1 winners at Craven Cottage.
The visitors took an early lead in the 20th minute when Josh King’s sloppy pass near the edge of the box was pounced on by Mikkel Damsgaard, who calmly slotted a low finish into the corner.
Fulham hit back just before half-time. Sasa Lukic’s effort floated awkwardly into a crowded area, where Alex Iwobi was perfectly placed to poke the ball through Brentford captain Nathan Collins’ legs and level the scores.
Moments later, the hosts had turned the match on its head. Iwobi again played a crucial part, threading a precise ball through Brentford’s defence for Harry Wilson, who made no mistake in firing Fulham ahead.
Shortly after the break, the Cottagers almost put the game to bed. Ryan Sessegnon whipped in a dangerous cross that Brentford’s Ethan Pinnock misjudged, inadvertently heading the ball into his own net to hand Fulham a two-goal cushion.
Rodrigo Muniz appeared to add a fourth with a powerful angled half-volley, but the goal was chalked off after a VAR review. Muniz had collided with Collins in the build-up, leaving the Brentford defender bleeding from the mouth.
The win moves Marco Silva's side up to seventh in the Premier League, level on points with sixth-placed Chelsea, while Brentford slip to 17th, still searching for form.
