Sunderland are being linked with a summer move for Fulham winger Harry Wilson as uncertainty surrounds his expiring deal.
The Wales international has produced 14 goal contributions in 28 appearances across all competitions this season. His contract is due to run out at the end of the campaign, prompting talk he could depart on a free.
Leeds United, Crystal Palace and Everton have also been mentioned among admirers. “He’s a very talented kid, but he’s getting on, he’s 28 now. But I don’t see him moving,” said former Everton, Aston Villa and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness. He was speaking to Football Insider.
“I think he would fit their style of play very well and that’s one I’m not discounting to show some interest in the summer as well.”
“Yeah, not a lot really. I’m fully focused on playing. I play football because I love the game and wherever I am, it’s got to be somewhere where I’m going to play,” he told Sky Sports in December.
Any developments could hinge on how the second half of the season unfolds.
