Fulham have completed a double midfield signing on deadline day, bringing in Hugo Larsson from Eintracht Frankfurt and Manuel Ángel from Real Madrid.
Larsson arrives from the Bundesliga side in a deal worth up to €25 million (£21.4m), with the 22-year-old signing after Fulham beat competition from Crystal Palace and Brentford.
The Sweden international has spent the past three seasons at Frankfurt, making 87 Bundesliga appearances and earning 12 caps for his country.
The agreement reportedly includes an obligation for Fulham to make the transfer permanent if certain conditions are met.
Alongside Larsson, Fulham have also secured Manuel Angel from Real Madrid for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old came through Madrid’s academy and made his first-team debut earlier this year.
Angel will reunite with former Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa at Craven Cottage and becomes the third player to move from the Spanish giants to Fulham, following Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios.
The two arrivals take Fulham’s summer recruitment to seven players, with Shea Charles and Jonah Kusi-Asare among their other additions.
