Eintracht Frankfurt said in a statement that Sweden international Hugo Larsson has joined Fulham on loan for the 2026/27 season, with a mandatory permanent transfer to follow. The 22-year-old leaves on deadline day, and Frankfurt accepted a deal built around a delayed permanent payment.
Board member for sport Markus Krösche thanked Larsson for his contribution over the past three years and wished him well for the next stage of his career.
Larsson departs after 119 competitive appearances for Eintracht across domestic and European competitions, scoring 10 goals.
Signed from Malmö in summer 2023, he established himself quickly and became a regular in central midfield. His energetic, box-to-box style often saw him advance from deep.
The second half of 2024/25 marked his most consistent spell, as Frankfurt secured Champions League qualification and he drew wider recognition. Last season he featured in 25 Bundesliga matches and seven in the Champions League, before a late-season dip saw him benched for the final two league games.
