Fulham will open the Premier League’s first Michelin Guide-recognised matchday dining experience when Constance on Matchdays debuts against Chelsea on Monday, 24 August at Craven Cottage’s revamped Riverside Stand.
The venue extends Constance at Fulham Pier and replaces the former Gourmet restaurant on Level One. According to City AM, guests are expected to pay around £900 per head.
Named after British florist and cookery writer Constance Spry, menus will be led by culinary director Adam Byatt, the Michelin-starred co-owner of Trinity in Clapham, with head chef Charlie Crote and general manager Gavin Ross.
Crote trained under John Williams at The Ritz, and Ross has worked on projects including Cameron House on Loch Lomond and the three-Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. The offer will also feature an 'Adam & Friends' programme, with seasonal, fixture-specific menus and guest chefs.
Fulham began redeveloping the Riverside in summer 2019. The estimated £350m project was completed at the end of last season, and the club have since expanded premium hospitality across the stand.
At the top end sits the Sky Deck season ticket, priced up to £20,000 per season and including Michelin-inspired dining, a panoramic roof terrace and an infinity pool.
Restaurants and a Soho House-inspired members’ club at Fulham Pier have added non-matchday revenue. Some supporters have raised concerns over affordability, and whether the redevelopment could push up costs for regular matchgoers.
Match and season-ticket prices have risen, but increases since the Riverside reopened have broadly mirrored wider Premier League inflation.
