Leeds United defender Gabi Gudmundsson has moved to ease concern over a knee knock with Sweden. The player said in a post: "See you on Tuesday".

The left back started Thursday's 3-1 win over Ukraine, earning his 22nd cap, but took a blow to his knee in the second half. He initially tried to continue before being substituted.

He was seen with an ice pack on the knee after the match.

Gudmundsson, 26, has been a standout for Leeds since joining from Lille last summer. He is also eyeing a place at this summer’s World Cup with Sweden.

Sweden finished bottom of their qualification group but progressed to the play-offs via their Nations League ranking. They face Poland on Tuesday in the play-off final, one win from booking their spot.
