"Gabi is a player with extensive experience at both club and international level, and we are delighted to welcome her to Orlando," said Caitlin Carducci, the team’s director.

"She has performed consistently in elite leagues around the world and brings quality, versatility and a proven ability to score goals. We believe she will be a valuable addition to our squad as we continue to pursue our objectives."

Orlando Pride are not having a strong season in the NWSL at the moment. Even with the legendary Marta, the Florida side currently sit 10th in the table and need to climb two places to advance to the knockout stage.

In total Gabi Nunes featured 24 times for the Villans after arriving from Levante in the summer of 2024, scoring five goals.
