Gabigol became joint-eighth highest scorer in Brasileirão history after netting for Santos against Vasco at São Januário on Sunday 16. He now has 127 goals in 309 top-flight appearances across Santos, Flamengo and Cruzeiro, level with Dario and Serginho Chulapa.
According to Diario Do Peixe, he is the competition's leading active scorer. With 16 rounds left this season, he could climb further, two behind Túlio Maravilha and three behind Diego Souza, and he can still match or surpass Zico on 135.
For Santos he topped the 2018 scoring charts with 18. With Flamengo he won the league in 2019 and 2020. The all-time list is led by Roberto Dinamite on 190, ahead of Fred on 158 and Romário on 154.
Gabigol is on loan from Cruzeiro and under contract with Santos until the end of the season, his third spell at the club. He has drawn level with Juary on 101 and sits 23rd on the club's all-time scoring list.
In 2026 he has 17 goals and 7 assists in 34 games. His contributions span the Paulistão, the Brasileiro and the Sudamericana, and he has also featured in four Copa do Brasil ties.
