Gabriel Gudmundsson will be at the World Cup after playing all 90 minutes in Sweden's 3-2 play-off win over Poland, while Switzerland explained Noah Okafor's precautionary absence.
yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk notes the Leeds defender overcame a knock against Ukraine to start for Graham Potter's side and complete 90 minutes.
Gudmundsson supplied the low cross for Yasin Ayari, whose touch teed up Anthony Elanga to score inside 19 minutes. Nicola Zalewski equalised, before Gustaf Lagerbielke restored Sweden's lead just before half-time. Karol Swiderski levelled on 55 minutes, then Viktor Gyokeres struck an 88th-minute winner.
Okafor was absent from Switzerland's 0-0 draw in Norway, having also missed last week's defeat to Germany amid reports of a training-ground knock. His omission, and Granit Xhaka's, was precautionary, with both returning from injury after consultation between players and staff.
Ao Tanaka came on for 16 minutes at Wembley as Japan beat England 1-0. Brighton winger Mitoma finished a slick first-half counter, and Thomas Tuchel, who had pre-planned Dominic Calvert-Lewin's departure, saw his side labour in attack.
Joe Rodon and Karl Darlow played the full match as Wales drew 1-1 with Northern Ireland, with Ethan Ampadu and Daniel James off the bench. Jaka Bijol captained Slovenia in a 3-2 win over Montenegro. Brenden Aaronson featured late as the USA lost 2-0 to Portugal.
