Center-back Gabriel Magalhães praised the importance of the debutants called up by Carlo Ancelotti for the Super FIFA international window. He emphasized the role of the more experienced players in “bringing calm” to the newcomers, who represent the “future of the Brazilian National Team.”

“We see a lot of young and new players who are here for the first time. Those of us who are more experienced and have been here for a few years have to bring them calm, because we know how heavy it is to wear the Brazilian National Team shirt. Everything is going well, the Mister is giving us total confidence to work calmly and win the matches,” highlighted the 29-year-old defender.

“(...) I think the most important thing right now is to welcome the new boys well, to give them confidence, because they are certainly the future of the Brazilian National Team,” he added.

The center-back said he is ready for Brazil’s next commitment: a friendly against India this Saturday (3) at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium (known as Salt Lake), in Kolkata, at 11 a.m. Brasília time (8:30 p.m. local time). The match will mark the first-ever meeting between the two national teams.

“I’m at the Mister’s disposal. We know the importance of every match. Every time we step onto the field wearing the Brazilian National Team shirt, we have to win, with all due respect to the opponent. May it be a great match for us, and may the Brazilians there also enjoy this moment together with us,” he concluded.
