Gabriel Martinelli arrives in Riyadh, ‘to join’ Al-Hilal | OneFootball

Gabriel Martinelli has arrived in Riyadh ahead of a move to Al-Hilal in the current summer window, with Asharq Al-Awsat publishing footage of the Arsenal winger landing in the Saudi capital.

The clip showed him getting into a private car as he began the process of finalising the transfer. His arrival came minutes before Al-Hilal’s first Clasico of the season against Al-Ahli at the Kingdom Arena, a rescheduled Saudi Roshn League third-round fixture.

Thmanyah said Martinelli is expected to head to the Kingdom Arena to watch the Clasico.

Press reports have indicated Al-Hilal have reached an agreement with Arsenal on a long-term deal worth more than 65 million euros including add-ons.

The Brazilian would be Al-Hilal’s third foreign signing of the summer, following Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United and English striker Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa.
