Gabriel Paulista voted Corinthians’ star as fans hand high marks after Supercopa win

Corinthians were crowned Supercopa do Brasil winners on Sunday, beating Flamengo 2-0 in Brasília, as supporters delivered lofty Notas da Torcida ratings. According to Meu Timao, the display at Mané Garrincha drew widespread praise.
Defender Gabriel Paulista opened the scoring in the first half and topped the ratings with an average of 9.4.
Memphis Depay squandered a major chance late in the half and was graded 7.6. Soon after the restart, Carrascal was sent off.
Referee Rafael Rodrigo Klein took the harshest review with 3.5, having whistled 37 fouls, 25 against Corinthians, and ruling out a Depay goal while VAR was not working.
Breno Bidon received 9.3, Gustavo Henrique 9.2, and head coach Dorival Júnior 9.1, while Charles, introduced after the interval, had 7.4. Yuri Alberto scored 9.1 and sealed the result with a delicate lob on the final play.
Corinthians host Capivariano at Neo Química Arena at 20:30 on Thursday in the Campeonato Paulista sixth round.
