Quevilly-Rouen Métropole have appointed Portuguese coach Gabriel Santos, 43, as head coach, replacing Fabien Valeri.
The club announced the move on Monday. They finished 13th in the National, now called Ligue three, last season.

Santos arrives from Aubagne, where he led the side last season to 11th place despite one of the smallest budgets in the division.
He previously worked on Rui Almeida's staff at Red Star from 2015 to January 2017, Bastia from February to June 2017, Troyes in 2018-2019, Caen from July to September 2019, and Gil Vicente from August to November 2020.
He has since continued his career as an assistant coach in Portugal.
