Serie A side MIlan have been actively finding suitors for Rafael Leao and have failed at that. But now, Galatasaray appear all but set to close a deal for the Portuguese.
In recent days, Jorge Mendes had tried to find clubs in the Premier League for Leao. Aston Villa and Tottenham were handed late opportunities but nothing moved.
Now, Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Galatasaray have made a new push for the attacker and have quickly reached an agreement for the player. The Turkish side have agreed to pay €45 million plus bonuses.
They have also put forward €10 million plus bonuses of €2 million in wages for Leao and are awaiting his green light before finalising a move.
Previously, it has been clear the player is interested in the deal as Galatasaray expressed their intentions to come close to his demands.
Agent and intermediary George Gardi has been key to the transfer, having played a big role in bringing Victor Osimhen to Gala two years ago too.
