Galatasaray boss reveals FC Porto’s asking price for Diogo Costa

Okan Buruk, coach of Galatasaray, admitted that the Turkish champion club was indeed interested in signing Diogo Costa, but ran into the demands of FC Porto. In statements to Turkey's Now channel, the coach revealed how much the Dragons asked for the international goalkeeper, who has a release clause of 75 million euros.

“They asked for 45 million euros for Diogo Costa,” Buruk admitted, also referring to Galatasaray's other targets to strengthen the goal: “Donnarumma could have been without a club. Lammens was on our agenda. Martínez was available. We chose an important goalkeeper among 5 or 6 goalkeepers. Ugurcan Çakir's biggest advantage is that he is able to handle any kind of pressure very easily.”
