Galatasaray have issued a fresh denial of any move for Jamal Musiala and accused parts of the media of spreading falsehoods. The club said in a statement that reports linking the Bayern Munich player with a move are untrue.
Hürriyet had reported that the 23-year-old was offered to Galatasaray on loan, and other outlets and pundits then amplified claims of talks and even an agreement.
Galatasaray said the continued promotion of disproven claims aims to mislead the public and to damage perceptions of the club’s transfer work. They added it was notable that the same individuals and outlets pushed similar stories last season.
The champions stressed that transfer business is handled carefully and in confidence. They urged supporters and the wider public to rely only on official club statements and to ignore inaccurate speculation.
Musiala is under contract at Bayern Munich until 2030 and is not considering leaving. He missed months after a broken fibula last summer and later had a planned operation to remove a metal plate. He is reportedly due to rejoin training after Bayern’s Asia tour.
Competition for the No 10 role has intensified, with Michael Olise pushing centrally, new arrival Ismael Saibari preferring that position, and Serge Gnabry plus Lennart Karl alternatives. Bayern have reiterated support for Musiala, and sporting chief Max Eberl said he has lost some ease and the magic moments, but they are sure that will return.
