Galatasaray have revived their chase for Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes ahead of the January window. The Istanbul club are preparing to move if contract talks at Old Trafford falter.
They tested the waters in the summer but United pushed back. Fanatik reports that United plan to trigger a one-year extension in his deal, a move aimed at protecting value and setting a £50 million to £60 million price in 2027.
If the clause is not activated, non-English clubs could open pre-contract talks in January.
Galatasaray, AC Milan and Juventus are positioning for the 32-year-old should that scenario arise.
Speculation has grown during the international break, with Fernandes in the Portugal camp alongside Galatasaray forward Rafael Leão.
The club believe Leão’s presence, together with UEFA Champions League ambitions, could help make Rams Park an attractive option if Fernandes chooses to leave Old Trafford.
