Fernandes threatened to extend the visitors’ lead early in the second half when he forced goalkeeper Mads Hermansen into a save.

Rasmus Hojlund levelled the scoreline for Denmark with a brilliant chip over Diogo Costa.

Fernandes once again made a difference for his team, setting up Vitinha to record his first international goal with an excellent cross.

Substitute Joao Felix added a late fourth as Portugal secured a thrilling victory at the Parken Stadium.

The Man United star posted excellent statistics against Denmark.

Fernandes had 59 touches in his 89 minutes on the pitch and completed 88 percent of his passes. He registered two assists and five key passes.
