Galatasaray have been dealt a setback in their wide forward search after Crystal Palace manager Pierre Sage said Ismaïla Sarr will stay at Selhurst Park.

According to Turkish-Football.com, the Sarı-Kırmızılılar had made the 28-year-old a late-window priority as they sought wide reinforcements.

"We are keeping Ismaïla Sarr. He is a truly crucial player for both the club and our coaching staff. He will be available to feature for us this week."

Valued at approximately €45 million, Sarr has 33 goals and 10 assists in 92 appearances for the South London club.

He played a central role in Palace’s recent domestic and European success, helping secure the UEFA Conference League title and the Community Shield. With 21-year-old midfielder Aleksey Batrakov already signed, the Türkiye champions must now switch to alternative wing targets before the deadline.
